Rob,

I don't think the wreath nor the Mexico '72 decal is correct for a '72 Colnago. Just the plain club between the seat tube bands. DT lettering is smaller than later years and stands alone on the DT, no other clubs or other stuff. If your for crown has both the holes drilled in the side of the crown AND the club engraved on top, plus 2 holes in fork tangs; it's a '72. If not, it's a different year. Generally speaking, there were yellow decals (as primary color) and blue decals. Most colors had yellow decals. There were a good number of colors available, but I don't think one could "order a Colnago and get what you wanted". Colnagos are production bikes, and generally not available "to order". Hope that helps.

I'm looking for a source for 1972 Colnago Super Decals. Yellow Colnago name with black outlining and the wreath. And instead of World Champion bands, there is the Mexico Record comemorative bands, which are blue and black.

Aside from that - in that particular year, what colors were available? And what decal cominations are correct for those colors? I've heard you could have your bike done however you like, but if you walked into a shop and ordered one, what would have been the standards?

Thanks
