Older Italian race photos (1920s let's say) refer to "Palmer" tires. Would a reference in that period mean that the rider was actually using a Palmer Tire Co. tire or had the use of that name become the default for the name to refer to a tubular racing tire??? I'm going to use a photo of Binda blowing up a tire with his mouth (is that even possible?) and they refer to it as a Palmer. Thanks.
