Jerry Moos had this to say about the Confente auction:
I suspect if the bidding hasn't reached a point to his liking with maybe an hour to go, he'll simply cancel the auction due to "Item no longer available" or some such.
EBay will no longer allow you to end an auction with less than 24hrs to run, even though they tell you that 93% of the bids usually come in during the last hour!!
