Hugh,

Just exactly what is different/better that this guy does, that "name painters" can't /aren't doing?

At yesterday's Hillsborough Antique Show (the wife and I collect antiques) I saw a booth for a guy who does restorations of scales, coffee mills, tricycles, and pedal cars.

I was astonished by the quality and workmanship of the paint and amazing detailed striping. I don't astonish easily having painted so many frames myself over the years.

Anyway, I don't know anything about the guy, how he is to work with, what he charges, etc so I'm just going to throw his name and contact info out there and maybe one of you might might try him for your next restoration project. He does better work than what I've seen out there from the "name" painters.
