Subject: [CR] frame pump for closely spaced pins

Listers and Gentlemen!

Well before embarking on a 1930's original paint bike project and in conjunction with assembling the usually shiny bits and pieces, I'd like to locate a frame pump, so it can be looked at with an eye toward matching, coordinating, or even just brazenly standing out. Not sure which. My issue is the pin spacing. The spear point pins (definitely original) are 15.5 inches (about 39.4 cm) apart at the tips. I have looked at numerous pumps in all the logical places a newbie knows of, and have not seen one that fits this space. They are all substantially too long even when full compressed. What's the throbbing and capable CR brain have to offer for period correct inventory, insight, clues or sources on this diminutive pump opportunity?

Yes, it will have only one gear; fixed or free or flip-flop is undecided. I might or might not soak an old B-17 saddle, I don't know about brakes yet, nor if I'll refresh or repaint it and/or the pump. I'm unsure of how I would approach a tire (or is it tyre) remount - toward or from the valve. Any touchy On Topic subjects I didn't avoid? I have not seen ANY posts on indecision. But I did listen to Supertramp while attempting to grow up and do like Brian May, as he is one cool astrophysicist who plays the 6 string a bit. There I go - Off Topic, and even with a grin!
