Subject: [CR] Polished Aluminum Casting Protection Study

We have four candidates so far: 1. Mark Stonich followed: "Once I polished up some old Campi high flange hubs with Simichrome and followed up with a coat of NuFinish polymer based car polish. Stayed so shiny that 3-4 years later I overheard, "Look, some idiot chromed his Campi hubs. - http://www.nufinish.com/faq_polish.html 2. Zoop Seal - http://www.zoops.com/zoopseal.asp 3. ProtectaClear - http://www.everbritecoatings.com/howtochoose.htm These three appear to all be organic/polymeric coatings What I had in mind is not. It is an inorganic clear oxide former (anodization) 4. Metalast TCP - HF - http://www.metalast.com/TCPSeal/TCP_Seal.html

I have no relation with any of these; I just want to know the truth ma'am.

Any comments, suggestions, guidance, experience with these or others? Many thanks
