Hello all!
I thought I might chime in...in that in September I rode over a 300 mile trip on my '82 Trek 728. It's the first model year and the only year with a 700 wheel size. I built narrow Weinmann concaves on 1st gen xt uniglide hubs...And, I've been riding these for three years, including this trip with Pasela TG 700x35s with no problemo...color me crazy...That trip was VERY hilly and VERY rainy...cathartic, in agood way!
