... more than a few years ago ... i won a newspaper-sized, b/w, newsprint poster of bill bailey, amatuer world champion, for maybe $10, from one of those political/historical auction houses.
... anyway i took it to my wonderful italian frame lady ... and a few days later ... got a call. what do you want us to do with the "other one". what "other one"? it was the same size, on the back of the cardboard holder/whatever.
... of the major !!
... i always wonder who saved these two from some sports newspaper.
... anyway a sweet bluebird ... these political/historical auction places always seem to have some neat historical bicycle related stuff ... if that's what keeps you going.
