Subject: [CR] FS: Campagnolo Nuovo Tipo 36h / Ambrosio Extra clincher 700c wheelset

I've got another fairly nice, user wheelset available: 1980s Campy Nuovo Tipo small flange 36 hole, unknown thread freewheel hubs built with Ambrosio 19 Extra Elite black anodized 700c clincher rims, and what looks like galvanized spokes. Amazingly round with virtually no hops, and mostly true, just needing a final perfection adjustment. This set has not been cleaned by me, just wiped down a bit. The hubs look nice, but after a real cleaning, could be polished up for the traditional Campy shine. All hub hardware looks excellent, and both spin long and mostly very smooth, each set slightly loose, for some reason. They could definitely use a repack of grease and proper adjustment, which I haven't done. Original curved lever q/r skewers are there, and again, will clean up very nicely. There is brake rub on the sides of both rims. Rim decals are mostly intact, but the front is somewhat faded. The spokes look dulled, and there is VERY light oxidation on a few of the nipples. This should clean up very well with a brass brush, from what I can see.

Included are Specialized Turbo 700x20c Sport tires, in very good user condition, with no sidewall issues, although a bit of drying out has begun there. Both tubes hold air well.

Also included is a Regina ORO 13-23t freewheel, with date code for 1983. The PROBLEM here is that the two prong remover slots have been ruined, so some careful and even removal of the broken parts are necessary before another removal attempt can be made. It kind of looks like the dreaded red locktite might have been used to mount this freewheel, as I can see a little bit of an orange/red substance at the shoulder, behind the unit. The freewheel movement is still very nice, and will only get better with new lube dripped in, and some use. Price with skewers and tires is $65, plus shipping of your choice, cost to be determined based upon location. If you don't want the tires and tubes, the price is $50. Thanks...
