Ron Boi in Kenilworth, Illinois. Ron's a very experienced and diverse builder - RAAM bikes for Lon Haldeman, all the way to fork repairs for PITA high school kids (me!), and very careful frame/fork alignments, and fork re-raking. It's a decent drive, just north of Chicago, but he works based on shipping, too. Contact or Google RRB Cycles, Kenilworth, Illinois. You'd probably have show examples or sketches of critical details, or at least verify that he has the "style" down. Several years ago he was getting painting done by Chris Kvale.

Maybe Franklin Frames near Columbus?

Doug Fattic spoke to me very highly of Rich Gangl in Golden, CO. He's reputed to be hard to contact because he's often out racing. Patrick Brady in Asphalt Magazine did a feature on him several years ago, very positive.

Mike Kone is probably a good source of recommendations, too.
