Subject: [CR] For Sale: large 1979 CARLTON TEAM PROFESSIONAL complete and original

have recently acquired a top of the range 1979 Carlton Team Professional as part of a job lot from the original owner (same as supplied to the Carlton pro team) but it is far too large for me being a 25.5"(65cm) frame however it is still completely original to the owners 1979 specs. (been in a time capsule!) I am told he did approx. 200 miles only on the bike before suffering a slipped disc and it has remained dry stored ever since, its condition only shows very light use but I am reluctant to part it out, the silver frame is in very good condition built from Reynolds 531 butted throughout with Campag. dropouts, complete with Campagnolo Nuovo Record groupset incl. the scarce four hole NR front changer, only deviation are the brake levers these are Universal, the wheels are 27" on low flange Campag. NR hubs laced to Rigida clinchers, Cinelli stem/GB bars, Brooks Professional saddle with large copper rivets, TA bottle cage so before I consider eBay I thought I'd see if there were any interest on the list I'm looking for $850 plus shipping....happy to supply pictures just get in touch, thanks Griff King-Spooner (London UK)
