Subject: [CR] Neat Chesini frame(s) for sale

I have admitted previously that I have always had a soft spot for Chesini frames, especially the somewhat fancier ones with the internal cables. There is presently just such a frame up for sale on British ebay:

I don't think that these frames were ever widely available in North America. When I got a chance to look at these at the Dutch shop van Herwerden in the early 80's, I always marveled at how the shift cables were routed in the down tube. The Chesini bikes were the first ones that I ever saw that had such routing. The Precision frame being offered is just below their top of the line X Uno frame. You can see the complete range in the catalog scanned by Mark Bulgier here:

http://bulgier.net/pics/bike/Catalogs/chesini2/ (simply click on the different pages. The Precision model is on page 4)

I have one of the X Uno frames in my personal collection (unfortunately perhaps just a tad too small for me) and apart from delicate decals, the level of workmanship is very good (The x Uno frame is on page 2). It would be nice to see another one of these make it over to the US. There is also a lower range Arena frame also being offered on ebay:
