Naturally the process will take longer at a lower temperature. No noxious fumes are given off that I've noticed. It's a good idea to agitate and turn the parts from time to time to get rid of bubbles and accumulated byproducts. Also, be sure to thoroughly degrease the parts first because grease acts as a mask.
