The "Trek Components Company" (TCC) was an off-shoot of Trek to distribute parts, tools and components to bike shops separately from the frame and complete bicycle business. The parts inventory was entirely separate from Trek's inventory and included many brands not otherwise associated with Trek's bicycle business. "Cycles de France" was part of TCC and housed in the same building as Trek itself.
