Offered for sale to the esteemed list: A SUPER clean Campagnolo Record (steel) PISTA headset in British 1" X 24TPI threads. This is the loose ball version of the more common strada Nuovo Record headset but has a lower stack height and no lettering cast/stamped around either of the cups.
There is not a speck of rust on it and the races look great. Perfect candidate for a restoration or show bike. Points on the upper cup and top nut are crisp and sharp...Hardly a sign of a wrench, save for one .5mm 'nick' on the lower portion of one corner on the top nut. If I hadn't removed this from a bike myself, I might mistake it for new.
