In fact, Raleigh made just about EVERY level of bike in the team color scheme. Here are most of the examples, with (a) The model name (b) The frame design (repaint of which raleigh bike?), (c) tubing used:

(a) Team 753 / Raleigh-Pro / made at Ilkeston identified by dropout holes, ~1800 gram weight (56cm) (b) Team 531 / Raleigh-Pro / 531 Professional Tubing, made at Ilkeston ~1900 gram weight (56cm) (c) Team 531 / Raleigh-Pro / 531 Competition tubing, made at Ilkeston identified by dropout holes / BB slits yellow head tube, almost never (SN# < ~100) (d) Team Record / Raleigh-Pro / 531 throughout, made at Worksop identified by 3 wide BB cutouts (f) Record (script on top tube) / Raleigh-Competition/ 531 throughout made at worksop for sale on the European continent identified by washer brazed onto rear bridge

(g) Raleigh Europa / Gransport / 531 db main tubes & forks (U.K. only) washer on rear bridge, maybe Suntour dropouts, i forget. yellow head tube, almost always

(h) Raleigh Record / Record / 1020 carbon steel Bocama lugs, no derailleur hanger stamped fork crown yellow head tube, almost always also, a blue & yellow model was made. also supplied in team panasonic colors

I am wondering if they ever made a 531 plain-gauge main tubes bike? was it: (i) Raleigh Scorpio? / Supercourse / 531 plain gauge 3 main tubes, (U.K. only)
