Hi Matt,

I can help you out with spare floating races and a fork crown race, but I gave my last spare Phillips type top race (the chromed race which screws onto the top of the steerer tube) to a pal two weeks ago, because he needed one for his Bates. If your screwed race is sound, other than having lost its chrome, I can direct you to an excellent plater who is happy to do small parts, and is very reasonable. I also believe that I have some dull black-finished screwed races of the kind you need, but would have to check. If you weren't happy to use one in this finish, you could have it re-chromed. All of these items are NOS.

You don't have to use a Phillips branded screwed race, since similar ones were made by other manufacturers, such as TDC and Brampton, and you can get the low stack height you need with them also.

I suggest that you contact me off-list, to discuss.

It's a floating race Phillips type; corroded and worn on my bike. If anyone can help me or point me in the right direction I'd be very happy, as I've had the frame stove enamelled (though unfortunately I couldn't afford a total restoration so just went for one colour).
