This weekend's project was making two-sided bolts for mounting racks on Mafac brakes. These are made from a Stainless Steel nut brazed to a piece of M6 Stainless Steel threaded rod + acorn nut

Note: Mafac pivot bolt (and possibly Rivendell's) are M6 with a 12mm nut. Mine are M6 with a 10mm nut.
