To broaden the horizon a bit, my 79 Gazelle Champion Mondial 753-frame, has a 59 c-t seattube (23 1/4 ?) and a 55,5 c-c toptube! Seems to be the same kind of geometry as the Raleigh Professional mentioned by Eric. Of course Gazelle was owned by Raleigh, that is Tube Investments at the time, so that might explain the same philosophy regarding geometry. Makes it pretty unrideable for me though ...
