Dear Tim Actually, Moll was no "builder" at all, just a bikeshop in Winterthur, canton (county) of Zürich, Switzerland. He must have closed down about a quarter of a century ago. It was quite usual that bikeshops bought frames or even finished bikes from the industry and then put their own decals on them, thus creating their house brand. So that Giovanni must really count for being the builder of this bike. Unfortunately I read his name here for the first time, but there were quite a few framebuilders in Switzerland working anonymously either for the industry, creating special, low-volume models, or for larger shops. As to Moll, he used to be a customer of the bike&parts wholesale business I work for now, but well before my time. We still have in a drawer about a dozen brass steerer tube emblems with his logo, obviously to be fitted to bike he would market under his name. Regards, Remo
