Sorry folks, I checked Classic Rendezvous . com only -- completely overlooking the obvious bikelist.org. And yes, bikelist.org is a terrific, helpful site with a simple archive search tool.

...it's not even a link...there's the search tool...which so happens to be made
available two times previously on the Top Most Page.
Hats off to Dale Brown and company for doing a good job of making the search tool available three times over for those who pay even a minimal visit to the bikelist.org website, lists and archives. Redundacy really serves a purpose...but even then...you have to pay attention.
...and then there is Google...which of course no matter what you do ALWAYS provies an "advanced search" link which allows you to actually search in Google
against a domain.
...and Craigslist's allows you to search against a specific category...
...and on...
