Subject: [CR] Several items for sale

After years of deliberation, I have finally decided to convert my 1960-ish Torpado "Tourer", back into the City or Sport type bike that I believe it was originally. Thus, there are some choice things that do not belong, and I have no current use for them. Selling these and some other good schtuff, and want to offer it here first. All shipping will be by the lest expensive method, unless buyer prefers better ... buyer pays for exact shipping costs, regardless of method.

>From the Torpado, and with photos as on the bike:

Universal Mod. 39 brake levers (introduced in 1939), used but excellent condition, polished about 5 years ago and only ridden ONCE on about a 20 mile ride. $100 plus shipping. http://tinyurl.com/yf4a7wl http://tinyurl.com/yjkh7n3

Simplex 1950s "Suicide", lever shifted front derailleur with earlier type aluminum "acorn" handle grip. Later models had a plastic grip piece. Very good used condition, with one or two small bits possibly not correct (taken from a very similar but not quite same Simplex unit because of their better condition). $75 plus shipping. http://tinyurl.com/ylqdaqp http://tinyurl.com/yhuhebx

Spidel Professional (by Maillard), small flange, 36h hubs laced to Mavic 1970s red label, silver aluminum, tubular rims. Spaced at 120mm in rear. Includes original q/r skewers, and a 5 speed Regina Merate ORO freewheel, that appears to have had two of the cogs replaced with something different (see the tiny bumps on the sides of those two cogs), but perfectly functional. Freewheel threads unknown. Used but excellent condition, polished about 5 years ago and only ridden ONCE on about a 20 mile ride. $100 plus shipping. http://tinyurl.com/yd9baex http://tinyurl.com/yehrsjg http://tinyurl.com/yaau83s http://tinyurl.com/yfxe4bd

Other items, where photos can be taken upon request, if there is no link supplied:

Campagnolo Record, 68-SS, post CPSC English thread bottom bracket with no dust sleeve or crank bolts. Fine used condition, but with very light marks on the races, just shy of any pitting. Still spins great. $40 plus shipping.

Campagnolo Record, 70-SS, post CPSC Italian thread bottom bracket, with black REG "accordion" type dust sleeve, and later silver looking crank bolts. Super fine used condition, with perfect races, just shy excellent overall. Spins excellent. $60 plus shipping.

Campagnolo Nuovo Record rear derailleur, PATENT-76, last version before the inclusion of plastic limit screw shrouds. This has no plastic shrouds. Very fine used condition, with minimal marks on the aluminum, and just a bit of oxidation showing on some of the steel bits. Presents as an excellent user. $45 plus shipping.

Cinelli 1-A or 1-E silver stem with newer "Flying-C" logo, 22.2mm quill x 100mm reach. Fine used condition, with excellent hardware, and only light marks on the aluminum in a few places. Presents as an excellent user $30 plus shipping.

NOS Generic leather toe straps, nine pairs with nice chromed buckles. Looks like "TTK" on the display card they are mounted to. Four pair red, three pair white, one pair blue, and one pair black. Originally marked at $7.99 per pair on the card, selling for $5/pair plus shipping. First come, first served when it comes to colors and supply. http://tinyurl.com/y8uj46m

NOS 1970s Velox bar end plugs on original Velox display card, all in white, but with shop dust, and very minor oxidation showing on some of the metal fastening bits ... virtually invisible when installed, and may clean away anyway when you whiten the rubber. I think there are about 24 pairs. First to buy five pair or more will receive the somewhat tired card as a gift. $5/pair plus shipping. First come, first served when it comes to supply.

It's late now ... will respond to all emails in the morning. Thanks...
