Howdy all,

Well, at long last I stumbled upon a beautiful set of 9/16" x 20 threaded Lyotard Berthet pedals (destined for my Mercier). I picked them up for a decent price because of an anomaly - both left and right pedals have "right" side axles in them. They appear almost NOS, though one does have a minor scuff on the dust cap. These are the later, newer model pedals, perhaps from the 1970s, with two wrench flats on the axles and no allen wrench recess. I have no idea how this happened and the previous owner had picked them up in a "box of parts" and never put them to use for obvious reasons.

After going through the archives, I see that Lyotard models 45, 45CA and 45TER can also be possible donors with regards to the axle. Thanks to John Thompson for documenting this. The overall axle length for my pedals is 95mm.

Does anyone have a left 9/16" x 20 axle or pedal with that axle that they might be willing to part with? I would be happy to buy it outright and I also have the extra right side axle in nice condition that I'd be happy to trade!
