Campagnolo wheelset for sale, consisting of small flange, 36h Record hubs with curved q/r skewers, locknuts on the rear dated for 1977, laced to dark anodized Ambrosio Durex 700 tubular rims with the cool, gold colored "Mappamondo d'Oro Premio Internazionale" decals. I think these are pretty light rims. Spaced for 6 speed, and have what I think is a pretty rare Regina freewheel (13-22t), marked only "38" on the body face plate, that has three typical oro steel cogs on the outside, coupled with three aluminum cogs on the inside. There is a bit of wear visible on the alum cogs, but I've not ridden this, so I can't speak for shifting quality. Looks like it will be fine for use. The freewheel movement is nice, well functioning, and this is a very light piece, but the removal notches have been compromised, and there is little hope of an easy removal. The body appears to be made of aluminum, as the removal pieces are breaking away too easily. I think the freewheel was just left on for too long, and some kind of bonding has occurred. Wheels need cleaning and perhaps polishing of the hubs, but they spin quite nicely. There is a moderate amount of brake wear on the sidewalls, and the rim decals are partially flaked. No rust from what I can see. Great to use as is, or maybe to destroy the freewheel body after removing the cogs, in order to install them on a better body, and get the old damaged piece off of this hub. Asking $125 plus actual FedEx shipping to the US, or USPS abroad. Photos available upon request ... thanks.
