I have a 1948 RRA frame I purchased on ebay.uk and the chainset I found and plan to use on has lovely slender crank arms, but they are not fluted. See pic http://velospace.org/node/25923 Now I have no idea what year this crank is from, and I think it will work ok on my well patinated bike. On the same velospace page I uploaded a pic of RRA specs from the '51 catalog which seems to show and state that the cranks are beveled rather than fluted which made me think the ones I bought were correct. It's kind of hard to tell from the catalog scans what the illustration shows, am I seeing wrong?
