I will be attended NAHBS as well, in the capacity of one of the correspondents for http://www.pezcyclingnews.com. I am very much looking forward to the event, if not the 11 hour drive.
I have been lurking here quietly since joining the list after last year's Cirque du Cyclisme, which was the second one I attended. I think the discussions here are very interesting and I have learned a great deal. I caught the classic bike bug last March when I bought a rather inexpensive and rather faded Raleigh frame on E-Bay and have had great pleasure researching it. It is a c. 1983/84 Ilkeston-built Reynolds 753 bike and I have equipped it with Campy SR for the most part. The bike has a new fork, courtesy of Giuseppe Marinoni, and Mrs. Marinoni repainted the frame for me. The decals ended up costing more than the frame, so I have also learned a great deal about the economics of rebuilding! This past weekend my reclamation project was complete and I have photos on Flickr here:

It is not as exotic as many of the bicycles discussed here but I think it is a very pretty bike, and quite lightweight although I have gone with clinchers rather than tubulars My plan is to ride it at l'Eroica 2010. Growing up as a Baby Boomer in Southern Ontario, I had no awareness of high-end racing bicycles but I think if I would have had the knowledge (and the money) back then I would have bought one of these.
