Offered to the list, my beloved money-pit 1974 Paramount track bike...first, some history- I bought the frame off e-Bay 5 years ago, and due to poor pics and poor description, I got it a reasonable price. Imagine my surprise when I opened the box,and found that I now owned a track frame that had been converted to a road frame, not an actual road bike! Rear dropouts had been changed, and bz-ons for gear cables and shifter bosses had been added; hopefully the misguided person who conceived of this is has been appropriately punished by their karma...
Here's the deal: All the "improvements" have been expertly set right by local listmember David Feldman- new Campy rear drop outs, bz-ons removed, all it needs is paint. Chrome is of course ruined where the rear drop outs were replaced, it is excellent elsewhere, except for very minor 'speckling' on the fork crown. Alignment is perfect;no dents; bike rides like a dream. Fully Zeus equipped, w/ near-new Brooks 'Swift' saddle, wheels have no miles since being built, nice 3ttt adjustable bar/stem set, extra Zeus chainrings included. The wheels shown holding the bike up are not included...
