Peter Kohler asked about Gios frames. From what I saw of the Gios shop, all frames are, or were made in house. It seemed to be a semi-production shop, catered to local cyclists in Torino - just like DeRosa in the Milano area. Gios seemed to be all under one roof, from fabrication to paint. I didn't have the impression they were a Huffy type of production facility. I was able to visit the shop during the 90's so much might have changed since that time.
