Hi all,

I actually sent a link to this just as NAHBS was kicking off, but I don't know if anyone got it while the list seemed to be working only sporadically at the time.

There was a lot of discussion on the list a couple of months ago about Path Racers or Road-Path cycles, and I wanted to send out a link to pictures of my new bike -- a modern interpretation of a Road-Path bike built by Dan Polito in Cleveland. Dan finished the frame and got it back from Spectrum just in time for the NAHBS - and I did the build up with (off-topic) Campy pista parts. I think it came out really nice.

here is a link to my flickr set:

and you can also spot some really nice shots of it in the various NAHBS picture sets that are out there. Dale got some beautiful shots of the bike at the show, so you might take a look at those again, too.

Some of you know that Dan Polito won "Best in Show" at the '09 NAHBS for his Jack Taylor-inspired grass track racer. Working with Dan was great -- he's just about the nicest guy you're apt to meet, and he has a great appreciation for the classics. He does nice work with lugs and fillet brazing (and even combines elements of both in some of his frames, like in the cyclocross bike he also took to the show this year).

If you saw all this the first time I sent it out, and this seems redundant, I apologize -- but I really wanted to share this with the list.
