Subject: [CR] Looking for inexpensive classic wide tubulars

Hi all - I've been looking around the web for an inexpensive, wide set of tubulars for my Wilier project - 700 x 25 or 28 - no way to spend 200 per on dugast tires - I'd even take an old set with decent rubber and fix them myself if anyone had them around.

Any suggestions? Otherwise, I'll give in and use the Servizio Corse tires at Yellow Jersey, but they will look a little narrow for the bike I think.

On an earlier thread talking about wooden rims - I finally built my CBL wood rims, on which these tubulars will go - I was amazed at how sensive they were to spoke tension - no idea if they are right worng, will stay, will not. Haven't ridden them yet - and hoping not to end up in a ditch - but the building was fun...
