I can vouch for Harvey's bottle generator, as I did many nights of pleasant summer touring with just such a headlamp on my Green Schwinn Continental 10 speed with safety levers and built-in kickstand ... looking for a spot to pitch our tent.
I'm sure the happy buyer could convince Harvey to combine the ankle-mounted, battery-powered, 2-C battery safety-lamp that was de-jour at the time, and "Schwinn Approved" as well. At 75 MPH, drivers could see you just after you dived into the ditch beyond the shoulder.
Ah, those happy-go-lucky summers.
