When used properly, the Raleigh 3-speed wrench-set (2 flat stamped wrenches) has a single-tooth lockring wrench. You basically insert the tooth into the lockring, make sure it's seated correctly, and the tool has a arched shape which wraps 180 degrees around the lockring, with the tooth at 3 o'clock and the wrench sticking out at 9 o'clock. One good whack with a hammer on the 9 o'clock side will often free the lockring, any lockring, in almost any size, as long as the tooth is well-seated.
