Subject: [CR] Campag Brakes: NR 2040 vs SR 4061 ?

Ahoy ! Point of Reference: Velobase.com Link below: Velobase.com>Brakes>Campagnolo>1980's http://velobase.com/ListComponents.aspx?SearchID~a68f2f-dc9e-4117-8646-442bfab87579

Brake Calipers NR 2040: 1978 - Mid-1980's SR 4061: Mid-1980's - Late-1980's

I am trying to identify whether cursive or block type face for 1984 Campag brakes and encountered another puzzle (for me). Looking at the photos, the only difference I see is the type face: block for NR and cursive for SR. Is this the only difference on the calipers? I cannot discern if brake blocks are different: NR, steel; SR, alloy.  (Yes, levers, I'm supposing are different: NR smooth while SR drilled).
