Subject: [CR] New Subscriber Introduction & Frejus Model Question

Hopefully - I am following the correct process....

I am a new, minty subscriber to the CR list - well, maybe not minty. I've enjoyed reading through the threads, and wanted to take this opportunity to say hello.

As way of introduction, I've spent a good amount of time on bike forums C&V, and although not a frequent poster - I've learned much. I look forward to learning much here as well.

As far a rides, I've downsized to my favorite bikes - 3 Frejus frames (early to mid 60's). My frames all have the oiler ports on the head tube and bottom bracket, cut outs on the seat lugs, and campy drops. The seat bolts are typical, not the collar version normally associated with Frejus/Legnano. Under the bb, just the frame size is listed (i.e. 56, not mc,ms, or tdf).

Is there a source that distinguishes models or an on-line catalog or book? Were the frame builders well known - or branched into other brands?

I think that the frames that I'm fortunate in owning are campimissimo/super corsa or professional. I am not 100% sure. Two frames came from New Zealand via e-bay, so they could be a little different from what was distributed in the States.

I imagine that there are a number of folks on th CR list that own Frejus bikes, and I would love to hear from folks and learn more. Thanks.
