Nice bike.

It's a long-shot you'll find the rightful owner (if there is one) on this forum. Based on the condition and the swapped parts, I'd guess it wasn't the cherished bike of a vintage owner/collector.

I bought a '74 GJ in similar condition at a thrift store for $10 a few years ago. It seems that there are still a lot of these boom bikes hanging up in garages, attics or basements that haven't been ridden in years, and are now again seeing the light of day as the kids and grandkids clean out grandpa's and grandma's house. Often these show up in garage sales or thrift shops, or are re-sold at flea markets at very low prices. Few people can recognize the difference between a truly collectable vintage bike and an old department store "10 speed". In fact, it's my experience that most people look at these machines we worship as just "old bikes".
