It's been a long time since I've had the opportunity to post to the CR list. Several important events have precluded me from participating in one of my favourite hobbies over the last year or so; we moved from NC to Chesapeake, VA and I've had to travel overseas on business for several months to name a few. I have been enjoying the great weather of late and started riding again. I hope to increase my mileage and will attempt to ride all my vintage bikes soon. Most bikes can be seen on the wool jersey site listed under my name.
Now for the pitch - I have a few incomplete projects I'm motivated to finish. I need several parts for an early 60's Ideor and a few for a late 60's TanGuy and a '69 Gitane TdF. The following is a small list of parts needed to finish these projects:
1. Mid to late 60's record rear der. In good used condition to be used as a rider. 2. Non drive side 49d Stronglight crank in 175, French or BSA 3. Magistroni Ideor headset or campy GS headset. The GS headset was offered when I first bought the frame, but like a fool I turned down the offer. I wish i could turn back time :) 4. Magistroni BB for cottered steel crank. 5. A 64cm mid 80's Italian frame to hang my off-topic first gen C-Record kit.
I have several parts for trade, too many to list. Ask and I may have what you're looking for. I have a second gen Record headset to trade for the magistroni or GS headset just to name one. I am also willing to pay cash. Please contact me off list if you have any of the listed items.
It's good to be back although regretfully I'll have to miss the Cirque again this year. Look forward to the photos though. By the way, any CR members in or around Chesapeake VA?
