Hi all, to my untrained eye, they look to have alloy axles and are the later versions with the stampings on the barrels. Early versions had decals.

They were made with steel, Ti and alloy axles. Never heard of any failures, and none of mine did, providing you looked after them, the bodies are NOT anodised like Mavic's RD550 hubs. So they need to be kept clean, polished and dry.

I'll try and see if I still have an OMAS hub here for trade/sale, I'm still cleaning up all my Mavic ones, they will be also listed soon........regards wayne davidson in the wet COLD southland city of Invercargill NZ.............

They are lighter than Campagnolo, have just as good a finish and bearings that will outlast those in Campagnolo hubs. At present, nobody has bid on these at the $50 starting price (however there is a reserve), in my eyes they are a bargain even at $100.
