Said to be 1973 ... and definitely 27.2mm:

Gonna have to shorten some of those URLs, eh?

A few months ago I purchased a 1973 Colnago Super ( Molteni Orange ) frame and fork. Today I started to pull parts from my various boxes to build it up and I was quite surprised that my 27.2 Record seat post wouldn't fit. I thought that maybe the seat tube was ovalised a tad, although it doesn't look like it and the slot and ears do not look pinched at all, and so I also tried a 27.0 post and it doesn't fit either although it is close. It seems I could put the 27.0 in with grease but it is NOS and I don't want to scratch it.

Early Colnago owners, are your seat posts 27.2? Maybe I just need a hone/ream?

Thanks
