Tally-ho!
Up on the block today is a lovely Brooks B17 Narrow saddle with the OVAL BADGE from the '40s/'50s in quite sound structural and cosmetic shape, with a nice patina (read: used but not abused).
Plus, since it recently crossed the pond, it is thoroughly authentic, having been broken in by a genuine British derriere, though I have no provenance papers certifying this fact.
Leather is soft and supple, yet supportive. Many comfy rides ahead of it.
A very proper finishing touch to your vintage cycle. And less $$$ than I happily paid for it.
