I have no answers... ...but do have one more question to add:
When did the copper rivets lose their "IDEALE" stampings?
It seems to be during the T-B era as I have two saddles with the metal name plate and no name on the rivets and I have multiple saddles with the metal name tags but with the name stampings in the rivets. They are all great saddles but the rivets with "IDEALE" stamped in are a bit cooler looking.
