Jay and all, The San Diego Frame builders show was really fun-it had a real old tyme CR feel as there were east coast guys, west coast guys, rides, parties and lots of comraderie! I had a triple booth representing the Far West Milano CC. Along with my rigs, Charles Andrews and John Waner brought some excellent bicycles to round out the vintage bicycle display. We all had a great time at the Velo Cult Parties, JB's Saturday night blow out, the fixed gear ride, the ride up to Point Loma and all the back slapping in between. We were stoked to have a large contingent of talented builders and makers from Oregon as well. Lot's of folk took the train or rode down from the greater Los Angeles/Orange County area as well as points north up to the San Francisco bay area and beyond.
I will post my pictures tonight. A big THANK-YOU to Brian Baylis, David Ybarrola and Chuck Schlesinger for putting on a great show. It takes a lot of hands to pull it off and so thanks for all involved!!
