... in one filming sequence, yates was in the back of the mustang, car going down hill at 120 mph, and yates tapped mcqueen on the shoulder and said something like we've stopped filming, can we stop now. mcqueen said no ... peter said why not ... mcqueen said ... because we have no brakes now. they jumped over a stop ramp and eventually came to a stop against another barrier..

... anything costner every did is pure crap, with exception to Bull Durham. if only american flyer could have been that good, eg susan sarandon changing that wheel (or at least attempting too :)
