{CR} For sale: Carlton "criterium" f+f and extras, Carlton frame question

(Example: Framebuilders:Brian Baylis)

hello all,

i'm offering a carlton criterium frameset. interesting and cool paint scheme and neat chrome headlugs and fork. frame measures 54cm c-t seattube and 57cm c-c tt.(or would this have been called a 21" bike?) of note: the seatstays attach in an unusual way, tiny solid caps? at top of stay attaching to frame? you can see photos of the stays as well as navigating my flickr for the rest of the photos of the carlton.

paint cracks at the underside/seattube facing part of the seatstays where they attach to the seatlug. i don't know if the possibility of problems w/ the seatstay-to-bike-juncture makes this totally undesireable, but i want to offer it at a good price so someone will take it on. included are headset and bb. i've got the williams crankset that came with the bike as well, and it is included, though not pictured. asking $25 O.B.O. plus actual shipping. may be worth it for the very nice condition headbadge+fork+extras? did all of the cartons with this seatstay treatment have this issue?

I look foreward to hearing what y'all think.
