The Louvet bike has Pauline DeLongs name on the top tube, Fred`s personal bike was the mate! Fred DeLong wrote "Delongs Guide to Bicycles + Bicycling" 1974, A very informative book. A detail of this bike is on page 28, fig 2.14. His bike, one of many, is on page77,fig 5.4, these are not great photos. I always wondered if he was the origional "Fred", (generic term for bike dork).
