Today I helped out my good pal Gary Williams by posting
his 1975 Colin Laing, 56cm, Shimano Crane group to eBay.
Have a look.
The lugs are quite stunning and the "triple triangle" reminds
us that there was indeed life before GT.
The bike is made of 531 Special Lightweight, a tubeset that
Laing described to Gary as being extremely rare the year it was
built (that's just what he said!).
It's a fine vintage bike with the sort of lugs appeal to the
Hetchins in all of us.
