I do need to mention here, lest this impression be continued unchecked, that Colnagos were not ever made in Mexico. I think the idea sprang from their model "Mexico" which was in reference to Eddy Merckx's hour record, ridden on a very special Colnago, which ironically was unjustly labeled at the last minute as a Windsor for political reasons.
