Good Morning:

Since all the attendees have been covered in previous postings, and I can't expect to be as articulate as Professor Hayes, I'll just say thanks to all of you whose paths I managed to cross on Saturday, and let you know what I managed to find:

New set of Honju fenders, with all requisite hardware, for $30. Pair of NOS Fiamme polished 700c 36h rims (no eyelets), $10/wheel. Pair of new Torelli 700c 36h eyeletted rims, $1 (!!) each. Superbe Pro front derailleur, $5. Box containing one 36h Cyclone f hub, Cyclone dt shifters, Cyclone brake calipers, and 13-28 Maillard 6-speed freewheel, $5 for the lot. NOS complete MAFAC Racer brakeset, in original wrapping, $15. 42cm Ritchey handlebar attached to 11cm Cinelli stem with Superbe Pro levers (good gum hoods) and black Suntour barcons, $10. Exceltoo HF rear hub (dunno what to do with it, but it was only $2). NOS Brooks B72, $10. Unidentified steel HF front hub with brass wingnuts, 36h (Airlite?), $5.

Also picked up a 58cm Peugeot frameset with drilled Huret Jubilee rear derailleur, Simplex retrofriction dt shifters, Stronglight A9 headset, Suntour Greaseguard bb, Sugino crankset, DiaCompe Grande compe brakes, seatpost, saddle, bar, & stem, for $40. Interestingly, it has an expander bolt in the seatpost, like a stem, instead of a pinchbolt. Nice, clean setup, but you have to remove the saddle to adjust the height! Vive la France! Anybody know what it is? Black with orange & white banding, Reynolds 501, "12 Vitesses" (sic).

Even the usually-irascible C***y D**e was relatively approachable, selling me a NOS Reg clamp-on bottle cage, in the box, for $5.

Anyone need a Jubilee? I now have this one, plus an unused non-drilled takeoff.

Good seeing everyone. My friend Martin commented during the ride home what a nice and knowledgeable group of people the CR respondents are.

That's all I remember.
