Condor have moved a couple of times within the Gray's Inn Road. The last move, a couple of years ago to spacious new premises at number 51. Post code is now WC1X 8AX. Their telephone number is 00 44 (0)207 269 6820. Monty Young still works in the shop most days but his son Grant now runs the business. Although Monty has been shown in photographs with welding torch in hand Condor has never built their own frames. He was (and is) however an extremely good wheelbuilder. And has many 'tales' to tel of experiences on the Milk race in the 1960s. The earlier frames late 50s, early 60s were built by Bill Hurlow. For a short time in the late 70s they they had a framebuilder working on the premises I believe. Vic Edwards also built frames for them in the 1970s and early 80s he also I believe built at Hetchins for a short time. Hilary Stone
