Well, I certainly don't need ANOTHER French bike, so maybe there is somebody else out there who'd like to work on this one:

It looks to be in great shape. Original green paint w/ 531 decals in fine condition. Tin-foil Gitane decals are okay too, but their weren't made w/ durability in mind. 25" frame w/ Huret drop-outs on chrome ends, of course.

Stronglight headset and crank shows almost no wear. Mafac Competition brakes complete. Pivo bar and stem. Simplex Competition rear derauilluer but Huret shifters and front derailluer. Look to be original equipment, but sure how that can be(?) I could sub some Simplex (which I have.) Loytard pedals w/ clips. Seat is cheap and the post is just the basic model.. that was standard. Old white cloth tape.

Wheels are only thing that looks to have been really altered from the shop. Clinchers, 27" w/ Campy Tipo hubs. I do remember these bikes often coming w/ Tipos as opposed to Atoms in the early 1970s. I could likely sub some sew-up wheels w/ Atoms if you wished.

What more do you need to know? Really very little use by the looks of it. Garage bike.

Pictures could be had.

$415 plus shipping. If I don't hear from any of you fine people in the week, I'll clean it up nice and put it on e-bay. Ugh! Save this beauty!
