In reading this (which takes a while to load over a dial-up connection), I saw the following :

"Author Alan Sillitoe, an ex-Raleigh worker whose best-seller ‘Saturday Night, Sunday Morning’ was set in the Nottingham factory..."

Has anyone read this book and would they care to comment on it?
